Ensemble 

This project was a lot of first in my costume production career. I have never draped anything, let alone a balanced dirndl skirt and a boned bodice. I had never made a boned bodice either. The petticoat was balanced using gathers and the over skirt was balanced using pleats. I enjoyed learning about the pros and cons of both methods and when to use them. For the bodice, all the drapers where given some sort of plaid and we all had to use it in interesting ways. For mine, I had to have the front pieces be on the bias and then chevron together.
